Houston Harbaugh Attorneys Organize and Attend CILE Law Fellows Luncheon
Houston Harbaugh attorneys, Jaclyn E. Faulds, Rebecca A. Winge, Chris M. Jacobs, Jake S. Oresick, and Maura K. Perri attended the CILE Fellows Luncheon on January 24th that was hosted by the University of Pittsburgh Law Alumni Association and K&L Gates. Houston Harbaugh attorney Jaclyn E. Faulds, in her capacity as Chair of the Alumni Engagement Committee of the University of Pittsburgh Law Alumni Association, kicked off the luncheon with opening remarks in honor of the Rule of Law Scholars Fellowship Program. This Program, which is in its inaugural year, was established to welcome lawyers living in conflict zones to Pitt Law to receive their L.L.M degrees and engage in meaningful pro-bono matters. The hope and intent of most of the student scholars is to return to their home countries to become leaders in the fight against oppression and aggression by strengthening democracy and the rule of law. This year’s Scholar class includes 11 deserving and dynamic students from Ukraine and Afghanistan.
