Overview

Maura concentrates her practice in the areas of general corporate law, commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, real estate transactions, and estates and trusts matters. Maura’s corporate experience includes counseling clients on entity formation and daily business operational issues as well as assisting clients in complex stock and asset transactions. Maura also has a strong background in real estate and regularly handles residential and commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, leasing matters, and title issues. Maura also assists the firm’s Estates and Trusts practice by drafting essential legal documents including wills, powers of attorney, revocable and irrevocable trusts. Maura enjoys helping clients find creative and effective solutions to a wide variety of issues impacting not only their businesses, but also their day-to-day lives.

Prior to joining the firm, Maura worked at a large Pittsburgh firm where she counseled clients on oil and gas due diligence matters and at a boutique firm in White Oak, Pennsylvania, where she practiced business, real estate, municipal, and family law. Maura earned her Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law, where she served as an Associate Editor of the Duquesne Law Review and as Secretary of the Appellate Moot Court Board. Before attending law school, Maura received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pittsburgh, where she studied Chinese language, history, and culture.
