Overview

Victoria W. Lai is an associate attorney in the firm’s Estates and Trusts practice area.

Since joining Houston Harbaugh, Victoria has supported the firm’s Estates and Trusts Group by drafting essential legal documents, including wills, powers of attorney, revocable and irrevocable trusts. During her legal education, she also served as a Legal Analysis and Writing Teaching Assistant, further honing her drafting and analytical skills.

In addition to her legal work, Victoria brings a valuable background in corporate restructuring and international tax compliance from her role as an International Tax Compliance Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where she prepared various IRS forms and reviewed documents related to complex corporate restructurings. Victoria earned her Bachelor of Arts, magna cum laude, from Case Western Reserve University with major fields in Economics, Political Science, and Environmental Studies. She also holds certifications in Transactional Law, Analyzing Financial Reports, and Bloomberg Market Concepts.

Outside of her legal practice, Victoria is an active member of the Pittsburgh community, participating in events such as the DICK’s Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon and the Stonewall Sports Sand Volleyball League. While in law school, she held leadership positions with the Mindfulness in Law Society and the Pitt Law Women’s Association.
