Mike Turzai To Resign As State House Speaker And Houston Harbaugh Of Counsel

On Wednesday, June 10, 2020 State House Speaker and Representative for the 28th Legislative District, Mike Turzai, gave his farewell address before the House Chamber. He vacated his seat effective June 15, 2020. Mike has also announced that he will be resigning from his role as Of Counsel at Houston Harbaugh.

A Pennsylvania House Representative of the 28th District of Pennsylvania, Mike represented communities in the North Hills of Allegheny County. He was elected Speaker of the Pennsylvania House of Representatives in January 2015. Previously he served as Majority Leader, Minority Republican Policy Chair, and Minority Republican Whip.

As Of Counsel with Houston Harbaugh since October 1992, Mike provided legal counsel to clients ranging from start-ups and small business to Fortune 100 corporations. He served as a senior advisor to the firm and as a mentor to firm associates.
