R. Brandon McCullough Named Chair of DRI’s Insurance Law Committee

Houston Harbaugh, P.C. congratulates Director R. Brandon McCullough on his appointment as Chair of the Insurance Law Committee of DRI, the largest bar association of civil defense attorneys and in-house counsel in North America.

DRI’s Insurance Law Committee is a leading national resource for insurance coverage counsel and insurance industry professionals. Among its signature programs is the annual DRI Insurance Coverage and Practice Symposium, one of the insurance industry’s best-attended national seminars and a premier gathering for the insurance coverage and bad faith community. This year’s symposium takes place December 2–4, 2026, at the New York Marriott Marquis in New York City, with sessions on bad faith trial strategy, the insurance industry’s role in promoting safety and stability, and the challenges posed by AI-generated claims and evidence in litigation.

Brandon’s appointment caps more than a decade of leadership within the committee. He has served as its Vice Chair since 2024, and previously served as Program Chair of the 2023 DRI Insurance Bad Faith and Extra-Contractual Liability Seminar, Chair of the committee’s Compendium publications, Vice Chair of its Commercial General Liability Subcommittee, and Chair of its Young Lawyers Subcommittee.

At Houston Harbaugh, Brandon concentrates his practice on insurance coverage and bad faith litigation and complex commercial litigation. He represents and counsels domestic and international insurers in coverage disputes, including litigating high-profile cases in state and federal courts throughout Pennsylvania and other jurisdictions across the country. He is a Fellow of the American College of Coverage Counsel, a member of the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, a member of the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel and has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America® for Insurance Law and as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer®.
