Samantha Lynn is an associate attorney in the firm’s Employment and Labor practice area. She assists employers with workplace counseling, policy compliance, internal investigations, and the defense of employment claims.
Before joining Houston Harbaugh, Samantha served as a Judicial Law Clerk in the Washington County Court of Common Pleas, where she researched and drafted opinions, memoranda, and proposed orders, primarily in civil matters. She analyzed and drafted decisions on preliminary objections, motions for summary judgment, and motions for judgment on the pleadings. In addition, Samantha conducted internal investigations on various issues.
During law school, Samantha served as a Research Fellow and Reference Librarian at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law. She clerked for a Pittsburgh litigation firm, where she summarized depositions, drafted complaints and responses to motions for summary judgment, and reviewed discovery.
Samantha came to the law after five years as an engineer.
While at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Samantha served as Treasurer of the Pitt Law Women’s Association, Community Engagement Coordinator of the Pitt Legal Income Sharing Foundation, and Business Manager of the International Law Society.
