Houston Harbaugh Welcomes 2024 Summer Associates

Houston Harbaugh is thrilled to announce the arrival of two outstanding individuals to its 2024 Summer Associate program. These talented law students have been carefully selected for their exceptional academic achievements and deep passion for the legal profession.

The Summer Associate program at Houston Harbaugh provides aspiring legal professionals with an unparalleled opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. Joining Houston Harbaugh’s Summer Associate program this year are:

Taylor C. Hinds – Taylor is a J.D. candidate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, exemplifies academic excellence and leadership. Set to graduate in May 2025 with a K. Leroy Irvis Scholarship, serving as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing, President of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and Community Liaison for the Pitt Law Women’s Association. Taylor earned her Bachelor of Arts in Legal Studies from the University of Pittsburgh in 2022, graduating Magna Cum Laude with a minor in Political Science and a Sport Studies Certificate. She demonstrated her commitment to service and teamwork as a member of the rowing team and the Delta Delta Delta Sorority. Her professional experience includes a legal internship with FMC Corporation, where she assisted with contract management, legal research, and document drafting, and an internship at Pro Zone: The Agency, focusing on client communication and business development.

Victoria W. Lai – Victoria is a J.D. candidate at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, is on track to graduate in May 2025. She is a recipient of the Blue and Gold Dean’s Scholarship and actively contributes as the Marketing and Communications Officer for the Mindfulness in Law Society, the Business Manager and Treasurer for the Pitt Law Women’s Association, and a Legal Analysis and Writing Teaching Assistant. Victoria holds a B.A. in Economics, Political Science, and Environmental Studies from Case Western Reserve University, where she graduated magna cum laude. Her undergraduate honors include the University Scholar, CAS Leadership Award, and the Economics Department Award for Service. Professionally, Victoria has experience as an International Tax Compliance Specialist at Thermo Fisher Scientific, an Office Assistant at the Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence, and a Sovereign ESG Intern at Invesco US. Additionally, she completed the Girls Who Invest Summer Intensive Program at the University of Pennsylvania, enhancing her investment knowledge and skills.
