Houston Harbaugh is thrilled to welcome two exceptional individuals to its Summer Associate program. These talented law students have been carefully selected for their impressive academic achievements and passion for the legal profession.
The Summer Associate program at Houston Harbaugh provides aspiring legal professionals with a unique opportunity to gain invaluable hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment. Joining Houston Harbaugh’s Summer Associate program this year are Aubrie McEwen and Alexander Loverich Bernard
Aubrie McEwen – Aubrie is a second-year law student attending the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, specializing in the IP concentration program. Their coursework focuses on intellectual property, litigation, health, and privacy law. Aubrie’s impressive achievements include serving as a Senior Research Editor on the University of Pittsburgh Law Review and participating in the prestigious Giles Sutherland Rich Moot Court Competition in patent litigation. The team’s exceptional performance led them to secure first place at Northeast regionals and reach the semifinals at the national level.
Alexander Loverich Bernard – Alex is a rising third-year law student at the Thomas R. Kline School of Law of Duquesne University. With a keen interest in transactional business law and intellectual property law, Alex brings a unique perspective to the team. As an Associate Editor of the Duquesne Law Review, Alex demonstrates exceptional research and writing abilities. Hailing from Pittsburgh, Alex also possesses a passion for music and plays in a band.
