November 20, 2025

Houston Harbaugh, P.C. Shareholder Henry M. Sneath will present two AI-focused CLE sessions at the Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana (DTCI) 2025 Annual Meeting tomorrow from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. He will begin with The AI Daily Routine, a practicum demonstrating how defense trial lawyers can integrate platforms such as Westlaw Precision AI with CoCounsel Premier, Google Gemini, Claude by Anthropic, and Relativity AI into daily litigation workflows. At 10:00 a.m., he will present Defending the Algorithm™, an examination of how insurers can navigate emerging coverage and potential bad-faith issues arising from algorithmic insurance claims handling systems. He will discuss litigation probabilities and key cases, including Estate of Lokken v. UnitedHealth Group, Kisting-Leung v. Cigna, and Barrows v. Humana, and outline expert witness strategies, discovery challenges involving “black box” systems, and risk-assessment frameworks for AI-enabled claims decisions.
