Houston Harbaugh Attorneys to Present at PBA Insurance Law Committee Program
The PBA Insurance Law Committee will host a free virtual Lunch and Learn on December 9, 2025, featuring Houston Harbaugh attorneys Henry M. Sneath and R. Brandon McCullough. This program will examine how artificial intelligence is reshaping insurance claims handling and influencing emerging theories of bad faith liability. Using a Bayesian framework, the presenters will explore the likelihood of lawyers pursuing new claims based on alleged non-human (AI) decision-making by insurers. They will also discuss how AI may affect coverage determinations, settlement processes, and interactions with insureds and third parties. Finally, the program will outline practical strategies insurers can use to defend against AI-related bad faith allegations.
