Overview

Sarah Czypinski is a Senior Attorney in our firm’s litigation practice. With more than a decade of experience in civil litigation and federal practice. Sarah brings a deep and strategic understanding of complex legal disputes, honed through years of advocacy in both private practice and the federal judiciary.

Most recently, Sarah served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Maureen P. Kelly of the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. In this role, she provided legal analysis and recommendations across a wide range of matters, including employment law, civil rights, class actions, and contract disputes. Her behind-the-bench experience refined her ability to approach litigation with clarity, precision, and a judge’s perspective.

Before her clerkship, Sarah spent eight years in one of the nation’s largest law firms developing a strong high stakes litigation practice handling complex commercial disputes, product liability, insurance coverage, class actions, and antitrust matters. She regularly briefed and argued dispositive motions, deposed expert witnesses, and managed discovery in high-volume cases involving hundreds of thousands of documents. Notably, Sarah led a team that successfully challenged decades-old Third Circuit qualified immunity precedent and served as national coordinating counsel in mass tort litigation. Her strategic leadership also extended to antitrust litigation, where she developed and implemented a successful defense strategy for a healthcare provider facing individual claims.
